The forums can often make for long days. After all the promised payments and back and forth, one site sold. I did awake to a couple of more sales, but one is already a problem, and it was in a group that should have been sold. I’ll go into forums, their benefits, downfalls, and some rules you should follow later.

I got so tied up in the forums and looking for files I didn’t get much done last night and called it a night way too early, but a bit after my mind had stopped. Please know you will end up with a ton of files. You will also very likely have a computer/harddrive go out on you if you are in this business long. First, try to keep your files well organized. I bet I have 10 different drives, and files are just all over the place. Go get a good backup drive, and make sure a copy of everything is on both drives in an order that you can find them.

I need to try to get some work done, as I’ve already been working for 3 ours and just haven’t made much headway. Tore up brownmule, and talked to a few walls, but I did make a couple of sales, and I am now at least even, though way behind in what I need in coming days to keep the ball rolling.

Well I built a few more sites, and got an ad out of 25 sites. I only sold one, way too cheap and might have two more sold. I got really bogged down trying to get three scripts to work, whcih now means I have three names with no content. I also spent some time looking at one of my newer sites www.turnkeys4sale.com looking for something to sell. Its nearly 4 oclock and still have to work on my sites to have a chance of making any headway today.

Am I starting from zero? Thankfully I’m not starting from zero, but if you are talking about cash, income and traffic I might as well be.

So I’m starting off with 166 domains. Of that list only www.phpsearchengine.com makes any type regular sales and it has been real slow of late. My CB and CJ accounts are currently at zero, and my template monster account has $78 in it. My paypal has $3 but I have short term loans outstanding of $22.50. Yesderday I had $.69 cents in adsense clicks. I made one sell of this product. Its the script of what www.ebookfront.com runs off (here) which I took in $7 .

So whats on tap for today. Well later today I plan to finish a couple of my sites, and learn some type promotion or a bit more about wordpress. Prior to that I have to get some sites out for sale. My goal is passive income, but selling websites is important, of late sales are slow at best. I’ve got about 15 sites for sale, and another 10 I can build. I’ll build a few sites, place an ad, and perhaps try to put a product out for sale as well, and give you updates this evening.

Okay now to why you are here and what this site is about. Over the last five years I’ve made a living off of the internet, but I sure haven’t seen passive income and its not been much of a living. Over that time I’ve come across 165 domains/ideas that I want to develop. At the time of this writing, not one of the sites are truly a final product or making decent money. I put together a list last night and loaded them all on www.forgethell.com (its a southern thing I’ll explain later).

So its become time for me to really start building my sites, and promoting them. I’ve got some bad news for you newbies, learning SEO and PPC doesn’t bring loads of cash to your door. People seem to make PPC much tougher than it is, at least for the basic start. SEO is a bit more tough to learn, but becoming number one for your term doesn’t mean people beat your door down.

So in the next few months I will be sharing my progress and what I am learning. This isn’t Field of Dreams, just cause you build it doesnt mean people come. Tomorrow my work starts.

First I would like to explain brown mule. Brown mule is a little known term for moonshine. It was also an old chewing tobacco. You need to understand I’m a southern boy, perhaps a southern gentleman, though few would likely call me that.

I’m proud of my southern heritage, and several of my sites are geared towards my proud of the south, and hopefully educating some about the south. Obviously there are some parts of the south’s past that is less than perfect, but I promise its no worse than most of the rest of the country at this point. I have moved around the country enough to see that, and its made me miss the south more.

I love the south because people are truly friendly on average, sure we got our grumps, but overall. But I also love how most of the people I knew growing up were. They were nice, knew their neighbors, and just the nicest people, but wanted to be left alone. Now however should you mess with them, fire and brimstone is likely come out.

I’ll explain more on this and more on some of my southern sites in the coming months. Just please know I am southern. I don’t chew or drink moonshine (lol much). I don’t have dislikes for others based on their skin. I do say sir and ma’am and I still open doors for people. All of which are frowned on here by many. I really can’t help it, I know I’m not far enough south to continue to do so, and even in the deep south those manners are fading, but what can I do. Respect, kindness, and hospitality shouldn’t be only a southern thing. Those concepts aren’t out dated. It is sure nice to hear my friends son call me sir, instead of man or dude.

So you can call me a redneck or rebel, but thats not really the truth. I’m proud of my heritage, and wish more of the world had the best traits of the south, and that the worst traits of the south could be put behind us. I am very ashamed of much of the South’s history, but I’m not ashamed of being southern.
